ACTORS

In the title sequence and opening scene of a news report we have 3 actors, the main character that is the mass murdered with the axes and also the two news reporters. If we were to show the whole film we would have more actors; for example a police detective going to the scene of each death, the five characters that are killed in the film and various extras when needed in a public place to give off a sense of realism. The main actor doesn't show much expression on their face when you see it this is so it’s difficult for the viewers to understand what the character is feeling so the character becomes unpredictable. This idea of the actor not showing much expression and showing minimal face is taken from the well-known film 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' because the main actor from that film is called leather face and shows no emotion throughout. This is recognised by the audience and they will recognise it in my film and like it because they have seen it before and enjoyed it.
